Chiefs win 2nd straight, beat Lions 45-10 at Wembley (The Associated Press)

The Kansas City Chiefs had to fly across the Atlantic Ocean to turn the corner. The Chiefs won their second straight game and took another step toward salvaging their season by beating the Detroit Lions 45-10 Sunday at Wembley Stadium, by far the team’s biggest win this year. ”When we play with a high energy and we play penalty-free, mistake-free, it’s going to be a good game for us,” said Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who caught one of Alex Smith’s two touchdown passes.
