Could Bears have quarterback controversy when Jay Cutler returns from injury? (Shutdown Corner)

On Sunday, the Chicago Bears left the ranks of the winless, claiming a 17-14 victory over their NFC North rivals, the Detroit Lions. The Bears won with Brian Hoyer at quarterback, with Hoyer making his second start of the young season after usual starter Jay Cutler left the team’s Week 2 loss to the Eagles with an injury to his throwing hand. Hoyer was solid against Detroit, completing over three-quarters of his passes for 302 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.
