DeAndre Levy provides funds to help test rape kits, investigate cases (Shutdown Corner)

Detroit Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy spent October, the NFL’s domestic violence awareness month, raising money for a specific cause: Detroit’s “Enough SAID (Enough Sexual Assault in Detroit)” program. Levy raised more than $30,000 to test hundreds of rape kits and potentially hire investigators to follow up. Levy has taken interest in the issue of domestic violence over the past year, and has raised funds through the sale of his “Our Issue” t-shirts, which he noted on his Instagram account this week.
